Hippie Christmas

Presley's 4th Birthday

Barb and Don came to help us celebrate with a big tie dye party.
Tie dye is their business and we love having experts teach us how.
Spiral, peace sign, burning man, heart, diamond, rainbow, or scrunchy clouds. . .
When the choosing, folding, scrunching, tying, squirting, wrapping,
rubber banding is done, the shirts have to sit.
Yes, untouched for 24 hours and absolutely no peeking!
Finally, when they are unwrapped and rinsed, the design is revealed.
This unwrapping is known as Hippie Christmas.
It was soooo much fun.

Hippie Christmas Tree!

the colors of the rainbow,
so pretty in the sky. . .
and I think to myself,
what a wonderful world!

I saw Lucas' shirt and was amazed at how gorgeous it turned out. I haven't tried tie dying since I was in high school because mine never came out right and now I know why - I was always peeking to early! It looks like you guys had a blast and ended up with the coolest party favors ever.
